Andrew Firestone

Andrew Firestone

Andrew Firestone is the great-grandson of Harvey Firestone, who at the turn of the century founded the Firestone Tire & Rubber Company in Akron, Ohio, and helped lead the industrial revolution. Firestone was a visionary who tirelessly championed the need for an interstate highway system in the United States. The Firestone family has a tradition of innovation. Andrew's family moved west and in 1972 opened the Firestone Winery, the first winery in Santa Barbara County. In 2003, after a starring role on ABC's "The Bachelor," Andrew reconnected with his family's heritage in the tire business and began working as a goodwill ambassador for the Firestone brand. Andrew is honored to be a part of the 50th Interstate Anniversary convoy which will re-trace its historic route through Ohio and will stop at the place where it all started for Firestone: Akron, Ohio.
