October 10, 1985

Wyoming officially opened a 10-mile-long segment of I-90 that stretches from the area near Sheridan to the Equality State's border with Montana. The opening of that segment marked the completion of Wyoming's 914-mile-long portion of the Interstate. That opening also made Wyoming the first western state and the 10th one overall to complete its share of the highway network.
