Keep on Truckin': Walcott, IA – June 23

1917 Republic Army Truck with Trailer, a type that may have been used on the original 1919 convoy.

The I-80 Truck Stop in Walcott, Iowa, is billed as the largest truck stop in the world and is home to the Trucking Hall of Fame and the Truck Museum. Iowa-80 hosted the convoy and owner Dave Meier escorted the convoy to the site in one of the many restored trucks from the museum. Vintage military transport, and trailer and vintage trucks were on display. Convoy particpants toured the Truck Museum.

The convoy will spend the night in Davenport, IA, where it will reunite with the Eisenhower Museum "swing route" Delegation.
