On the Road to Abilene: Kansas City, KS – June 22-23

In Kansas City, the convoy stopped at Kansas Speedway, where it was greeted by Governor Kathleen Sebelius, Transportation Secretary Deb Miller, American Trucking Associations President and former Kansas Governor Bill Graves, and other dignitaries. Following a ceremonial lap around the speedway, a luncheon media event was held.

Friday, June 23

The Eisenhower Museum delegation rejoined the main convoy in Davenport before proceeding on to Ottawa, IL.
